Car Wash Fundraiser for Romania Mission Team

Saturday, March 20 from 10:00 A.M. to 3 P.M. at the car wash on Hudson across from the post office. Tickets will be sold in the church foyer for a donation to the team.

College Student Mission Trip to Romania--June 11 through 20, 2010. Please prayerfully consider supporting the Team sponsors, David and Alicia Enegren, with your gifts to this mission outreach, and watch upcoming bulletins for details about how to help the students cover their expenses.

Living Proof Live featuring Beth Moore will be at the Tucson Convention Center March 26-27. If you ordered a ticket for this event, please do not delay picking it up at the church office. Unused tickets must be returned this week in order to receive the 50% refund. If you ordered a ticket but are now unable to go, you will still be required to pay the other 50% ($30).

VERSE OF THE DAY:
Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you. (Hebrews 13:17)

Youth Team Mission Work

A team of youth from Sun Valley Community Church, Phoenix will be coming to Silver City to perform a community service project during their spring break from March 13-16. There are two needs that our church can meet in preparation for this event:

They require 40 laundry baskets which they will fill with food for needy families. The youth have raised monies to purchase food for this project...and we will provide the baskets. To date, we have collected 35 baskets. Please consider donating one or more baskets to serve the needy in our community.

A few host homes are needed to house three junior high students and one adult sponsor in each home. If you are willing to open your home, please talk with Pastor Dave (956-8649) as soon as possible.
